Panasonic launches P55 Max with 5000mAh battery in India

The long lasting 5000mAh battery further ensures the seamless functioning without interruptions. Even though the Panasonic P55 Max is backed by a massive battery, yet is light weight at 180 gm. "We believe, P55 Max will be the quintessential solution-provider for individuals in the value-based smartphone segment", Pankaj Rana, Business Head - Mobility Division, Panasonic India said in a press statement.

The new Panasonic P55 Max comes with 5.5 inch HD IPS display for better readability and wider viewing angles.

As evident from its "Max" Moniker, the Panasonic P55 Max is being billed as a battery centric device.

If you don't care enough for the fingerprint sensor and would like to save a few thousand rupees, then you could choose the Panasonic P55 Max over the Moto E4 Plus. Under the hood, there is a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor with a clocking speed of 1.25 GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

Another highlight of the device is that it comes with a 13MP rear camera with Quad LED flash, a rarity in the price range.

Panasonic today announced P55 Max which comes with 5000mAh battery and is available on Flipkart at Rs 8,499.

The Mobile Indian reports that a new feature is also in the offering. Customers buying the phone will get 5% off they have have an Axis Bank credit card and 3 months unlimited data for INR 399 recharge on Jio plus an additional 30GB data over 6 months.

In terms of connectivity, the device will support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro-USB 2.0. Sensors on the smartphone include Accelerometer, Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor, and Ambient Light Sensor.
