Walmart Apologizes For Racist 'N*gger Brown' Product Listing

Walmart has since removed the wig cap listing from its site, and searching for the item yields a "technical difficulties" screen.

Kwani Lunis, a sports journalist, tweeted a picture of how the description appeared on the website, asking: "Hey Walmart what are you doing?"

Walmart promptly replaced the "add to cart" button with a message stating the item was no longer available.

"We are very sorry and appalled that this third party seller listed their item with this description on our online marketplace", a Walmart spokesperson told the Daily Dot.

The Prime Minister also called on all the party to support the war against corruption, which has been initiated by the government. Apart from this, the Centre will also introduce 16 new bills in both the houses of the Parliament for consideration and passing.

While they declined to identify the vendor selling the hair net, Walmart says it has removed the listing from its website and called it a "clear violation of our policy".

The now infamous wig cap story lit up social media over the weekend after users noticed that the cap's description incorporated the n-word to describe the color.

New York Times best-selling author Roxane Gay condemned the retail chain, tweeting that dropping the N-bomb on their site was "so far past unacceptable". Others have criticized Walmart for passing the buck onto the third-party seller rather than taking total responsibility for what ended up on its website.

The ad was taken down Monday morning. Please be aware. Very sorry for all the distress this has caused. The Huffington Post reported that the product was indeed not sold by Jagazi Naturals. "We are feeling the pain here as well", said Chizo Onuh of Jagazi Naturals. But according to the United Kingdom based Online Hair Extensions Store, someone falsely put their name behind the cap.
