3-year-old Long Island twins drown in backyard pool

Three-year-old twin boys have drowned in the family's backyard pool.

She told the New York Post: "She has such difficulty with pregnancies so having three of them was just a super blessing, I can not even believe this is happening to her".

Police arrived at the scene and found Anthony at the bottom of the pool before the twins were both rushed to the hospital where they died.

According to ABC station WABC in NY, police said the boys' mother had just woken up when she looked out the window and saw one of the twins floating in the pool.

The brother was found moments later in the pool.

Medics and police officers jumped in the pool - which was "murky" and hard to navigate - and retrieved the other boy from the bottom, officials said.

"The hospital worked feverishly for a different outcome but it was not to be today", Andrea Mineo, a spokeswoman for Plainview Hospital, told Newsday.

But we doubt that he would dare go against the words of the "President", as many Barca fans have taken to calling Pique. Javier Mascherano meanwhile admits Pique's post reflected what the rest of the team are thinking.

"It's heartbreaking. I have two grandkids - one is a 3-year-old and one is turning seven, and I have a pool too, but we didn't open the pool for the last two years", Yoram Amiran said.

Sue had been sleeping in the house when the boys snuck outside, authorities reported.

A five-year-old boy at the home was unharmed.

A Town of Huntington spokesperson says the property and its pool were inspected in May and that everything, including the fence and pool alarm, was up to code. She reportedly began looking for them when she did not find them in their bedrooms in the morning.

Neighbors said the family where the twins were found had just recently moved to the area.

Beyrer called the incident a "tragic accident".

"I can't take their pain away", she said, adding she has twin grandsons.
