Jeremy McConnell 'threatened to throw ACID in Steph Davis' face'

Stephanie Davis has arrived at court to see her on-off boyfriend Jeremy McConnell face a charge of assaulting her.

Judge Wendy Lloyd said in her ruling at the Liverpool Magistrates' Court: "This is a sad story, like many of this sort there is much emotion on both sides".

The court heard that the former Hollyoaks star, 24, "feared for her life" on the night of the attack as Jeremy "grabbed her face and took her phone before throwing her around like a rag doll and getting her in a headlock", The Mirror reports.

"After I locked the doors I heard kicking on the front door like he was putting it in".

Steph claimed that during the assault, Jeremy had a "psychotic episode" after celebrating Steph's birthday. "He bit the inside of my arm".

PM should explain, says Cong on alleged discrepancy in notes
Kapil Sibal said the high denomination notes of Rs 500 and Rs 2000 varied in terms of their size, design and other features. Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman P J Kurien said even if there were two types of notes, it could not be a point of order.

Stephanie told the court that she gave Jeremy a "second chance" following the birth of their son, but he continued to be physically abusive towards her.

The judge then chose to take a break after the former "Hollyoaks" star began shaking in the witness stand because Jeremy began laughing at her testimony and was reportedly heard muttering "lies, lies, lies" under his breath.

Stephanie broke down in tears in court after she heard that the judge had decided the Irish star, with whom she has seven-month-old son Caben-Albi, had beaten her during a blazing row on March 9.

He had pleaded guilty to criminal damage at Steph's home and denied assault by beating at a previous hearing but the judge took less than 15 minutes to find him guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend following the trial.

Stephanie Davis was beaming from ear to ear following the guilty verdict bestowed upon ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell.
