UK Police Seek Jogger Who Pushed Woman Into Path of Bus

The woman falls to the ground, her head coming within inches of the bus, before the driver swerves away "at the last second", per the Evening Standard.

'We are quick to address the jogger in the CCTV about what happened that morning.

The incident occurred on London's Putney Bridge and the video appears to show the jogger run towards the woman before using his arm to shove her to the pavement. He collides with the woman, who is walking in the opposite direction, sending her into the road just as a double-decker bus is approaching. It then stopped and passengers rushed to help her.

Cops said the jogger ran the other way across the bridge around 15 minutes later and the victim attempted to speak to him, but "he did not acknowledge her". But her apparent assailant-who was wearing a T-shirt, shorts, and running shoes-kept moving, police say.

The new sites will largely be focused on the country's smaller cities, and more than 75pc will offer a delivery service. The growth plan is the result of a partnership with Chinese conglomerate CITIC Capital Partners and The Carlyle Group.

Thankfully, the bus driver avoided hitting her, and the woman suffered only minor injuries.

Sergeant Mat Knowles, the exploring officer from Putney Safer Neighborhood Team, stated: 'The casualty was placed in outrageous risk when she was thumped into the street.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone who recognises the jogger in the CCTV to get in touch.

Police said that the footage had been released as the investigation into identity of the runner, described as a white man in his 30s, had so far been unsuccessful.
