PS4 System Update Version 5.0 Patch Notes Leaked

At the moment, Sony has the PlayStation 4 firmware 5.0 beta up on its website, where console owners can enroll in hopes of getting access to the beta trial.

There will be an expanded range of options for those with sub/child accounts on their consoles.

The PlayStation 4 next big system update, update 5.0, is going to introduce plenty of new features which will make sharing of content and interactions better than ever, according to a fresh report. There will be settings to prevent non-friends from following you, and users can be blocked as well.

System notification will be visible on the Quick Menu, which will omit the need to return to the PS4 Home screen to check on notifications.

Where you were given the ability to follow certain certified users in a previous update (I forget which one), you will now be able to follow literally anybody you like, which is a move created to help the spread of user generated content and clips across the network, as a boon for developers looking to boost the profile of their game.

PGA Championship move to May changes major championship rhythm
Mickelson, like four-time major victor Ernie Els of South Africa, will make his 100th major appearance this week at Quail Hollow . A few holes have been lengthened, while others, like the first hole, have been altered a bit from the course's previous layout.

PlayStation 4's 5.0 firmware update is coming soon, and it will bring 1080p and 60fps Twitch streaming with it, according to Eurogamer. Family accounts will now be able to feature multiple adult accounts, which can act as a parent/guardian role and set parental controls on a per-account basis.

If you don't have access to it, though, no worries - EuroGamer claims to have a list of some of the upcoming features, the first being that aforementioned ability to stream video on Twitch at a high resolution and game rate. Requests can also be sent to adult accounts on other PS4s to join the same family.

Notifications have been added to the Quick Menu.

Behind-the-scenes support for bundle and compilation discs, with or without add-ons, and discs which support games and add-ons (such as a "Game of the Year Edition"), which do not require developers rework any code. Apparently, it's meant to launch alongside a revamped PlayStation app. Sony is focusing on improved design and streamlined performance.
