LG's V30 will be the first phone with an f/1.6 lens

With its dual camera setup integrating an f/1.6 aperture with glass lens, the upcoming flagship looks to contend with the most popular camera smartphones in the market. In nearly every way, the LG V30 camera is not only superior to the one on the LG V20, but also tops the cameras found on other smartphones.

Along with its larger aperture, the LG V30 also boasts LG's glass Crystal Clear Lens, which is said to be superior to plastic lenses when it comes to collecting light and color reproduction - something that's traditionally been associated with DSLR cameras. LG notes that the V30's main camera will include an f/1.6 lens, allowing 25% more light than cameras with an f/1.8 lens.

It also said the 6-inch V30 will actually feel smaller in one's hands compared to the 5.7-inch LG V20 as it reduced the bezels at the top and bottom by 20 percent and 50 percent, respectively. "For the users for whom the V series was designed, this kind of innovation is significant", Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, said in a statement.

The V30 camera will be assisted by LG's proprietary UX with several photography modes and editing tools, laser detection AF (Auto Focus), OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization).

State Department: US speaking with 'one voice' on North Korea
But he noted that if North Korea acted against the USA first, Trump would not need Congress' go-ahead to hit back. Tensions have escalated with North Korea over the last several days.

LG V30 is scheduled to debut on August 31 in Germany, the very location, which is hosting the globally acclaimed trade show IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) September (1-6).

Like the G6, the V30 will feature a dual camera setup.

The LG V30's enhancements should bring a new level of competitiveness among flagship handsets. Apart from this, Android Headlines wrote that the smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip, along with added support with 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage.

There's not long left till we see what LG has to offer on the V30, so stay tuned to find out what happens.
