A hugely popular Netflix show has just confirmed a second season

Netflix didn't mention anything about when GLOW season 2 will premiere, but we're hoping we get it right around the start of the summer in 2018. The series depicts a fictionalized account of one of the strangest and most influential moments in professional wrestling history, and does so with an authentic aesthetic.

The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling will be back for another round in the ring after all.

Manchester United move 'all over' as Gareth Bale starts for Real Madrid
The win over Manchester United to claim the Super Cup trophy will be a big boost for Real Madrid as the season is on the way. There is a lot of games, it's a long season but I expect us to do well". "I haven't had any of those conversations".

The dramedy "follows Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie), a struggling out-of-work actress as she auditions for, trains and eventually makes the first-ever women's wrestling TV show". "For now, GLOW is just a solid concept for what's to come".

The first run of ten episodes was released via Netflix on June 23, with the streaming giant describing the show as "a Cinderella story with bodyslams". Most reviewers praise the series not only for its glitzy, authentically hairspray-and-spandex-infused '80s vibe, but also for its uplifting overall message about empowerment and equality. The series, produced by Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan, is loosely inspired by the real-life novelty women's wrestling league G.L.O.W.
