Acura RLX freshens its 377-hp face at Pebble Beach

Starting at the front, the new RLX features a new pentagon grille inspired by the 2016 Precision Concept, flanked by redesigned Jewel Eye headlamps that better accentuate their shape. It's not much different from the current RLX with two screens in the center stack, tasteful wood interior accents, and lots of curves. Non-hybrid models - powered by a 3.5-litre V6 with 310 horsepower - now have a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The auto comes in two variants, the 310 horsepower RLX with Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS) and the 377 horsepower RLX Sport Hybrid with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). Well, the 2018 Acura RLX has landed and it really wants you to take this "Sport Hybrid" thing seriously. The Acura symbol is more prominent at center and new LED headlamps with a sharper edge flank the grille.

"This redesign of the 2018 Acura RLX is transformational, creating road presence and styling that better reflect underlying performance capabilities of the vehicle", said Acura vice president and general manager John Ikeda.

Acura revealed the facelifted 2018 RLX flagship sedan, which now benefits from the brand's latest design direction and a new suite of technologies. If you love cars with all-wheel drive, the Sport Hybrid will be your choice, but it still generates the same 377 horsepower as the a year ago model.

RLX Sport Hybrid features drive technology derived from NSX supercar. Inside, the RLX receives new seats and upgraded materials.

Kristen Bell Drops Some Knowledge About Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's Split
I mean, this makes sense-but it's easier said than done. "It has nothing to do with him being [a] bigger [star] than her". However, she does think people should be a little more understanding of the fact this is what Faris and Pratt want.

For 2018, the RLX will be available in two flavours.

A new Traffic Jam Assist feature is a significant addition to the RLX's standard AcuraWatch bundle of active safety features. The other driver assists in AcuraWatch include lane keeping and departure warning, forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.

Like the current model, the AcuraWatch suite of safety tech is standard which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, and other tech you'd expect to find in a vehicle in this class.

Look for more photos and pricing later this year. The 2018 Acura RLX will make its public debut during the prestigious Monterey Automotive Week, August 15-19 on the Monterey peninsula, and will be available to purchase in November. However, expect the standard RLX to start at around $US55,000, while the Sport Hybrid will cost around $US60,000.
