Bill Hader drops in as 'human cocaine' Anthony Scaramucci on SNL special

Bill Hader drops in as 'human cocaine' Anthony Scaramucci on SNL special

"He made contact, tongue to tip!" "Now that I'm gone, you're all depressed and edgy, and you're trying to figure out how to score some more Scara-mooch!"

When Che suggested he would have liked Scaramucci to have stuck around in his White House position a little longer, Hader's Scaramucci agreed but said he had no regrets.

"When I hear my name three times, I appear", Hader's Scaramucci said on a Facetime call with host Michael Che.

The bit began with co-anchor Michael Che getting a FaceTime request on SNL's camera, which was a pretty amusing image in itself. Hader has always been an wonderful impressionist with a chameleon voice, and this turn as Anthony Scaramucci shows that he hasn't lost his touch since leaving the sketch show a few years back.

Jost told NBC News earlier this week that missing out on covering Scaramucci's short tenure "was sort of like missing Christmas".

But how is the Mooch feeling about being ousted less than two weeks after getting the job?

The faux Scaramucci also addressed his tart comments about presidential adviser Steve Bannon - saying he had actually seen Bannon perform the act that the real Scaramucci described to the New Yorker's Ryan Lizza. Trainwreck's Bill Hader made an appearance on the 10 August episode as the Trump administration's former communications director, Anthony Scaramucci.

However, according to Bill Hader's Mooch, he was misquoted. No summer comedy, new or returning, has debuted at better than a 1.5 demo rating in eight years, and the start of Weekend Update's summer primetime run suggests a summer comedy crowd is there for the taking. The Mooch's firing is the flawless example of why the show exists.

"Weekend Update: Summer Edition" will air three more episodes this summer on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
