Chelsea in three-way battle for PSG right back

Jose Mourinho will certainly be hoping everything works out for Aurier with the Sun claiming that the Special One has identified the Frenchman as the man to shore up his defence.

Ivorian defender Serge Aurier has agreed a five-year deal to join Manchester United from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.

Chelsea have also been credited with interest in landing the Ivory Coast global.

A few days ago, calciomercato.com exclusively reported Inter's interest in Psg defender Serge Aurier. They believe Jose Mourinho may prioritise a move for a more attack-minded option before the Aurier deal goes through, with Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic still a priority for the United manager.

According to Goal, Aurier will pen a five-year contract with United. Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Ashley Young, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof, Axel Tuanzebe and Chris Smalling have all played, or are capable of playing at right-back for Mourinho.

The economic action has put Qatar Airways in a hard position having to take longer, more expensive routes to destinations. Under the NOTAM the access route, above the Arabian Gulf, connects Iranian airspace to Bahraini.

Aurier is now banned from entering the United Kingdom due to an assault conviction, but the Ivorian right back is hopeful that will be overturned in an appeal.

"He's lost his place at PSG because they've got a new right-back, Dani Alves, and he's likely to leave Paris this summer".

Despite the latest news coming out of France, United still have several issues to overcome before they'll be able to land Aurier.

But the Daily Mirror isn't so sure, pointing out that Aurier "is now banned from entering the UK" having been found guilty of assaulting a police officer outside a Paris nightclub past year.
