North Korea threatened Guam numerous times in the past

The North Korean People's Army Thursday released more detailed plans for a missile strike near the Pacific territory of Guam.

The Associated Press and Reuters reported on that statement, essentially spreading the news that North Korea will never abandon its belligerent tactics around the world.

Guam's Homeland Security Adviser George Charfauros says officials there are confident "the U.S. Department of Defense is monitoring this situation very closely and is maintaining a condition of readiness".

This is not the first time that DPRK has threatened Guam.

Ellsworth B-1s were last deployed to Guam in August 2016, when they took over continuous-bomber-presence operations from the B-52 Stratofortress bomber squadrons from Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, and Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.

Another change would be that patients could bring people other than only designated caregivers to dispensaries. New Yorkers will have 30 days to comment on the proposed regulations when they are published later this month.

North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho stood before the ASEAN Regional Forum meeting and said the following: "We will, under no circumstances, put the nukes and ballistic rockets on the negotiating table".

"Obviously the South Korean government does not support (a US pre-emptive strike)".

Meanwhile, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga reaffirmed Thursday his country's close alliance with the United States and agreement with President Trump's "maximum pressure" policy against North Korea. "We believe it is extremely important for the Japan-U.S. alliance to strengthen its deterrent power and ability to respond", he said.

PACAF said the aircrews practiced intercept and formation training, enabling them to enhance their combined capabilities and tactical skills, while also strengthening the long standing military-to-military relationships in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
