Taylor Swift Testifies that Groping was 'Horrifying and Shocking'

Swift's appearance Thursday was about making the statement, to herself and the world, that whatever it was that happened was not her fault.

"It was just destroying her", the elder Swift testified.

"He grabbed outside of my clothing, he grabbed my ass underneath my clothing". "The first couple of milliseconds I thought it must be a mistake, so I moved to the side very quickly so that his side would be removed from my ass cheek, but it didn't let go".

"It was a definite grab". Further, I'm guessing that they and even the men will believe Taylor Swift and award her a dollar and a message that will be heard across the country.

"This is what happened, it happened to me, I know it was him", Swift said, adding that she had no reaction to learning that Mueller, then 51, had been fired over the incident. She testified that "this was something I did not want known".

All three were captured in a photo at the event, which was later leaked to TMZ. Her team told the radio station about the incident but never demanded the DJ be fired, she said. She accused the radio host of sexual assault and battery; Swift said she hopes to hold Mueller accountable and "serve as an example to other women" who have gone through similar struggles.

Mueller sued Taylor Swift for at least $3 million, saying she cost him his job and reputation.

Swift, who was 23 at the time, has filed a countersuit in which she accused Mueller of "reaching under her dress and grabbing her bottom" as they posed for the photo. Her mother told the court that since the incident at the Pepsi Center, the star has changed how she interacts with fans.

When pressed about why she didn't report the incident right after it happened, Swift told the court she didn't want to ruin the experience of the couple dozen fans who were still waiting in line.

When asked how long the alleged grab took place, Taylor responded by saying, "I don't think it would be wise to estimate time in court, but I know it was long enough for me to be completely sure that it was intentional".

Swift said the groping occurred as she posed with Mueller and his girlfriend for a photo.

Call said Mueller at first denied to him that he had touched Swift at all.

Evidently satisfied with Swift's testimony, her attorney, Douglas Baldridge, declined to question her after McFarland finished.

Swift is regularly criticized for seeking publicity, whether it's through her relationships or her various feuds, and some - like Mueller - have questioned her motivations in this case.

Looking at the photo, McFarland asked Swift why the front of her skirt did not appear to be lifted.

The pop superstar used explicit language that seemed created to avoid sugar-coating what she said was a sexual assault when she posed for a picture with David Mueller in 2013.

Swift, 27, gave forceful and sometimes sarcastic testimony under cross-examination by a lawyer for David Mueller.

Haskell admitted he participated in efforts toward getting Mueller fired, but that it was ultimately Bob Call's decision to make.

Worden, who has worked for Swift in some fashion since 2009, remembers the moment where Swift told the entire room "that guy touched my butt" following a photo taken for a meet-and-greet.

Mueller testified Wednesday that the photo taken before the concert was "weird and awkward", but he insisted that he touched Swift in the ribs, not in the rear.
