Trump tweets backhanded warning to North Korea, mentions upgraded USA nuclear arsenal

As North Korea continues to develop it nuclear capabilities, President Donald Trump tweeted that the US has modernized its own nuclear arsenal and is prepared to use it if necessary.

While Obama repeatedly proved himself to be steady and thoughtful in order to avoid making any rash decisions, Trump is the exact opposite - lashing out and threatening nuclear war without even looping in his closest advisers.

Trump amplified his inflammatory rhetoric toward Pyongyang this week, telling reporters on Tuesday that North Korea would face "fire and fury" if the country continued to threaten the U.S. "It is now far stronger and more powerful than ever before", Mr Trump tweeted.

It also prompted North Korea's military to announce that it is considering an attack on Guam, a US island territory that hosts about 6,000 American troops. My book, "Earthism", made the point that America's vast nuclear arsenal was built with the premise that we would never use it.

Shapovalov said earlier this year that he and Fuorivia are on good terms despite parting ways. She was even more dominant against the second serve with a 70 percent success rate.

Trump was apparently referring to a review of United States nuclear weapons that began earlier this year, which he directed Defense Secretary James Mattis to undertake in a presidential memorandum signed during a January visit to the Pentagon.

En route home from a trip to Asia, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson assured Americans not to worry. "But I think what the president was just reaffirming is the United States has the capability to fully defend itself with any attack, will defend our allies, and we will do so".

"He's saying, 'Don't test America and don't test Donald J".

Most of us had assumed that Trump could not start a war (nuclear of conventional) without some sort of approval from either Congress or his National Security Council or the Joints Chiefs of Staff or someone with an ounce of rationality that could tell him, "No". We are now a hyper power.
