Now many pundits' favourites for this season's Premier League title, Manchester City's transfer business has been eye-catching.

Champions: Manchester City. Pep's boys just look to have so many goals in their team and Ederson in goal could make a massive difference at the back.

After spending millions in the window, will the likes of Man United and Man City display nearly ideal football, or will they fail to meet their silverware aspirations this season?

I suppose we have in a way, with the signing of the France global striker Alexandre Lacazette from the French Ligue 1 club Lyon marking another record breaking spend on one player.

"You will have so many scientists around the team that who will bring out the team to play on Saturday will be more management specialists than football specialists".

"We needed to do that because it was one of the oldest teams in Europe, not just the Premier League, and we need to change it".

U removes Sharad Yadav as leader of party in Rajya Sabha
Nitish could be made convenor of the NDA, a stature once enjoyed by George Fernandes and Yadav, according to JD (U) leaders. Hitting out at Bitish, Anwar said that people who brought the party to its glory were being "removed" from party posts.

Brighton was very convincing in the Championship last season but the step up to the Premier League is a big one. Guardiola seemed unprepared for the rude physicality of English football and was derided for saying he was "not a coach for the tackles" after a 4-2 defeat at Leicester City.

Wayne Rooney returns to Everton eyeing the two goals he needs to reach 200 in the Premier League, and will face opening opponents against whom he has scored five times in the top flight including a previous brace in 2012. "We are going to see at the end of the season what happens, knowing how hard it is". I think, if you read the French papers, Kylian Mbappé is how they will look to finish their transfer market.

However, United finished in sixth place and an eye-watering 24 points behind champions Chelsea, despite losing the same number of Premier League games as Mourinho's former club.

"It's simple, in every game he is stronger since he joined us", Wenger said. This game will have more of a competitive edge than the usual curtain raiser, but we can expect Arsene Wenger's side to be up for it.

Mourinho's squad has been boosted by the summer arrivals of defender Victor Lindelof, midfielder Nemanja Matic and striker Romelu Lukaku. I think it will be a draw. Last season two were not.
