A shop steward for Local 2665, the union that includes Cedar Hill Firefighters, said they ordered about 250 glasses from Amazon to hand out. Customers who purchased these glasses are getting refunds, along with a warning not to use them.

"The only way to safely look at the Sun when it is not in total eclipse is through approved filter material designed and marketed expressly for direct solar viewing".
