Tonight on NBC America's Got Talent begins its new season with an all-new Tuesday, August 16, 2017, episode and we have your America's Got Talent recap below!

And now it was time to find out which of the acts in jeopardy would make it through tonight. Check out my Week 1 live show thoughts below in my America's Got Talent 2017 predictions. With that being said, we have to send five acts home tonight, and seven acts will survive for another round of competition.

The other competitors who advanced tonight are singers Yoli Mayor and Christian Guardino, a cappella group In the Stairwell, extreme rollerskating duo Billy & Emily England and comedian Preacher Lawson.
