Eden Hazard and Tiemoue Bakayoko give Chelsea boost

Nainggolan believes his Belgium global team-mate has the talent of those two giants of the game, but thinks Hazard needs to score more goals to be considered in their class.

Hazard scored 16 goals in the Premier League last season for Chelsea, his best haul over his five-year career there. Sid Lowe details Diego Costa's desire to return to Atletico, and the FC crew discuss his relationship with Chelsea. The ESPN FC panel are stunned by the rumours that this could be Antonio Conte's second and final season with Chelsea.

Chelsea played a match against QPR behind closed doors on Thursday. Academy prospect Charly Musonda also found the net twice in a rout for the home side.

The title defence got off to a disastrous start as they lost 3-2 on the opening day against Burnley, with Gary Cahill and Fabregas earning red cards in the process.

Md. Gov. Want Taney Statue Removed from State House Grounds
Three of the four voting members of the State House Trust voted by email Wednesday to move the statue. An identical statue of the Taney statue in a different location was taken down during that process.

Eden Hazard missed Chelsea's preseason and the defeat to Burnley through injury.

The sight of Hazard and summer signing Bakayoko taking part in training with the rest of the Chelsea squad on Tuesday will therefore have been a source of welcome relief for the Italian. The 26-year-old Hazard, who is now out of action with an ankle injury, has scored 122 goals for the clubs he has played for - Chelsea and Lille - as well as 17 times for Belgium.

Hazard broke his ankle while on worldwide duty with Belgium back in June, whereas Bakayoko arrived at Stamford Bridge from AS Monaco already carrying a pre-existing knee injury.
