Teen in custody over fatal Adelaide crash

The mother-of-two was driving a Nissan Micra when a stolen white Mitsubishi Pajero collided with her at the intersection of Main North Road and Kings Road just after 6.30am on Sunday.

"(Her) vehicle (was) probably pushed at least 50 metres", Superintendent Anthony Fioravanti said this morning.

They have been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and illegal use of the Mazda.

Police allege two of the teenagers in the 4WD fled the scene and were picked up by another allegedly stolen vehicle.

An Adelaide woman has died after men in a stolen four-wheel-drive crashed into her vehicle, then fled the scene.

Mrs Paveley was driving to her early shift on Sunday morning when she was struck while crossing a green light.

Protesters storm Charlottesville city council meeting
No one was injured and three people were issued citations for disorderly conduct before the meeting resumed, the Times reported. Emotions ran raw during the meeting that spanned for hours with many chastising the city council and the police department.

Police enquiries revealed the Pajero was stolen from a Grange address and was allegedly involved in a house break-in at Brahma Lodge in the early hours of Sunday morning, where it is believed the black Mazda was also stolen. "It's a real tragic incident, the speed of that auto was going unfortunately she would have had no chance", he said.

But instead of stopping at the scene and checking on the crash victim, witnesses told police that the two men fled the scene in another auto - a stolen black Mazda sedan, which had been travelling in convoy with the other vehicle.

The 4WD was reportedly pursued by police on Saturday night before the police called off the chase shortly before the collision.

A senior police officer at the scene offered no comment on the fate of the boys or whether they were to face the same or different charges.

Three teenagers have been arrested following their release from the Adelaide Youth Court today, according to SA Police.
