Shadow Of War Producer Memorialized In DLC

"Mike 'Forthog" Forgey was our Executive Producer and great friend here at Monolith. To honour his memory Monolith has named this orc "Forthog Orcslayer". While this typically means the player is about to die, this time around he's saved by a mysterious savior known as Forthog Orc-Slayer.

Michael Forgey was a Monolith Executive who died past year at the age of 43.

A trailer has been created for the DLC, accompanied by some very powerful music that was written and performed by Forgey before his passing. The team chose to include the character in the game as a way of keeping their friend's legacy alive, adding the "legendary Forthog Orcslayer is our way to continue having Mike leap into battle and save us when we're down".

Mike "Forthog" Fogey has been re-envisioned as Forthog Orc-Slayer, seen here saving Talion from, appropriately enough, an orc.

Nobody serious gives a damn about Melania's shoes
To be clear, the vast majority of the mainstream media was not focused on the first lady's shoes Wednesday afternoon. President Donald Trump says there is still "so much to do" for Texas to recover from Hurricane Harvey .

Middle Earth: Shadow of War launches on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 10.

Every time someone buys the DLC, WB Games donates $3.50 Dollars to Forgey's spouse and three surviving children. He's been immortalised in the game by his colleagues and appears as the legendary Forthog Orc-Slayer.

With a little over a month left until release, WB and Monolith are preparing to go big with its follow-up to the acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. You can pre-purchase it on Steam or Xbox One right now for $4.99.
