Manchester City vs. Liverpool: Highlights and recap

Manchester City vs. Liverpool: Highlights and recap

"The decisive decision in the whole game was the red card", Klopp told Sky Sports.

Jurgen Klopp's men were coming off a great win over Arsenal after hammering the Gunners 4-0, did not expect a rampage from the noisy Manchester City. In the end it is a red card and I am sure enough people will find enough reasons to say it is the right decision and we can not change it anymore. The foot was not that high, the goalkeeper came out to head the ball.

De Bruyne joined City two years ago when Guardiola made him one of his first signings after watching his impact for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga when he was in charge of Bayern Munich.

It was De Bruyne's perfectly weighted pass that found Aguero's well-timed run and the Argentine opened the scoring after skipping round Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

Instead, Liverpool missed the game's best early chance and, not too long afterwards, City took their first best chance. Unfortunately the red card happened - it's an accident, but it deserved a red even if it was not his intention. "I think everyone knows he didn't see the goalie", Klopp said.

We've got clear weaknesses in our team and it's painful to see; Alberto Moreno is not a left-back, he can not defend at the level required for a Premier League footballer, he's a left-wing-back and should only be used when there is an established back three or as an attacking player.

Jaguar to launch Formula E support series in 2018
The Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY will offer a complete arrive and drive package for 20 drivers at each of the Formula E events. This is the world's first worldwide race championship for electric vehicles based on production cars, Jaguar claims.

Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum admitted the visitors did not respond well after the red card. "I was still positive (but) with one man down against City, it is really not the best place to be", he said. But the Blues still managed to defend well and score a lot of goals without them, and that's all thanks to City's strength in depth. "He loves to be here with us, so we're a lucky team, a lucky club to have Kevin with us".

Leroy Sane finished the job with two more goals in 77th and 90th minute, sending a strong message to all other contenders for the title.

"A very unlucky situation".

Ederson required eight stitches in his side's 5-0 win and was snapped with a bandage covering the damage to the left side of his face.

Maybe this latest picture of Ederson, three days after the high tackle went down, will change his mind.
