Tom Savage or DeShaun Watson

On the field, the Texans were anything but strong.

The issues with Houston are all on offense.

A change at quarterback at halftime provided a glimmer of hope.

But even that would be doing a disservice to what Fournette actually did on the field in Jacksonville's surprising 29-7 win over the suddenly hapless Texans. Thanks to Savage's anemic first half-one in which he completed only seven passes and led the Texans to zero points-we have been reminded once again of this very bad truth. But let's say that Bortles does average this season, putting together some solid performances during the span of the season. The excellent protection kept Blake Bortles composed in the pocket by keeping him upright and giving him time to make plays. Hopkins caught one of those passes.

"I'm still learning, not flawless, going over the film with those guys and understanding how to study the game", he said. "It's a long season ahead of us". The Texans had 25 total yards on offense midway through the second quarter.

The blame for the offensive trouble doesn't lie with the skill players, either. He was sacked four times and, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, was seen walking with a limp after the game.

Several offensive lineman signed big deals this offseason to join the NFL's highest-paid players - Brown looks like he might be next in line.

The Jaguars finished the game with a team-record 10 sacks on Houston quarterbacks. Jacksonville is 4-1-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams in Houston. Those struggles led to the pro debut of rookie Deshaun Watson. But Watson's insertion in the game appears to have piqued their interest. Savage played in just 2 games for Houston last season, throwing for 461 yards while completing 63% of his pass attempts. He threw 16 interceptions with 3,905 yards and 23 touchdowns while also fumbling twice in 2016.

How the Chargers and Broncos match up for the season opener Monday
Fans began trickling onto the Mile High Stadium grounds in downtown Denver hours before the start to the Broncos 2017-18 season. The Broncos have won eight of their last ten against the Chargers , but have only covered in half of those games.

Leonard Fournette didn't burst into the National Football League in spectacular fashion with one of his long-distance TD runs from his college career. "Watch the tape and move on".

Fans didn't know at the time, but Watt was playing the game with one of his bones sticking through his finger.

After a humiliating defeat, the injury-ravaged Texans must now turn around and travel to Cincinnati in a short week to face the Bengals on Thursday.

The meager offensive line was partly to blame as the Texans ended up benching starting quarterback Tom Savage after just two quarters and no points. That leaves an unproven starter protecting Savage's blindside which is far from an ideal situation. He isn't about to give it up without a fight.

As for who will get the starting nod is still in question. "The way they put this team on their backs and kept us going ..." No one was really talking about us coming into this week. "We spent a whole day with him down there".

"Personally, I think [Watson] gives them a better chance, "Ramsey told CBS Houston". But that's just the way it is.
