Boyfriend of Savanna Greywind granted custody of baby

Boyfriend of Savanna Greywind granted custody of baby

She told police she had given Greywind advice on how to break her waters to induce birth.

The photos come days after LaFontaine-Greywind was laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fargo.

The child attended Greywind's funeral last week, which her family said was "very nice".

A criminal complaint says Crews told police she arranged to have Greywind come to her apartment on August 19 - the day Greywind was last seen alive - and told her how to self-induce birth by breaking her own water.

12, dismissed the order that had placed the baby in protective custody of Cass County Social Services after she was found in the possession of one of the suspects charged in the case.

Matheny and LaFontaine-Greywind named the baby girl Haisley Jo.

"It's awesome - it's all over with finally", Matheny said Tuesday.

Lafontaine-Greywind disappeared after Crews reportedly asked her to come to her apartment and model a dress that she was sewing. Her live-in boyfriend, William Hoehn, was arrested soon after.

Brooke Crews and her boyfriend William Hoehn (HAYN) are charged with conspiracy to commit murder and kidnapping.

After noise complaints from neighbours, a newborn baby was also found alive in the same apartment building where the 22 year old was last seen.

A preliminary autopsy revealed that the Fargo woman died as a result of homicidal violence. It is not clear when she will be released from the hospital.

"She's mine", Ashton Matheny, Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind's longtime boyfriend, told The Forum newspaper on Monday.

Greywind's body was discovered by kayakers a week later in the Red River, her torso wrapped in plastic secured by duct tape.

Crews initially told police Lafontaine-Greywind gave up her baby, but later admitted that she took advantage of the mother in an attempt to take her baby. The maximum penalty in the murder charge is life in prison without parole.

The couple is being held on $2 million bail.

The couple was scheduled to move into an apartment together in north Fargo on September 1.
