'Soundbreaking' held at Flight 93 Memorial

It has been 16 years since terrorists flew two commercial airplanes into the World Trade Center killing 3,000 people.

It has been 16 years ever since the September 11, 2001 attacks rattled NY and sent shockwaves across the world, sparking the American invasion of Afghanistan that still continues to claim thousands of lives every year.

"This trail is a 1,300-mile symbol of resiliency and character that links the World Trade Center in NY, the Pentagon in D.C. and the Flight 93 memorial in Shanksville", said Rob Loughery, vice chairman of the Bucks County commissioners as he read from the resolution. The planned 1,300-mile circuit will loop through Shanksville, Pennsylvania, New York City and Washington, D.C., and wind into parts of Bucks and Montgomery counties.

At the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, construction will soon begin on a 93-foot tower to commemorate the 40 lives lost in the hijacked plane that crashed into the countryside on September 11, 2001.

However, many believe it was not possible for just 19 people to carry out such a deadly attack.

Westley and Yvonne Thomas from NY always wanted to come to the Flight 93 National Memorial for September 11 ceremonies.

Although Jonny Evans was a Manchester United player for a long span, that didn't stop Guardiola from trying to sign him. Guardiola praised Toure's role in his side that gave them the balance, experience and control he was searching for.

Rest assured, the hellfires of September 11, 2001, will never be forgotten.

It was a sad day in our history, but it bears remembering because of the increasing threat we face from radicals around the world who want to do us harm today as much, if not more, than the perpetrators of 9/11.

The American Airlines Boeing 767, which was loaded with 20,000 gallons of jet fuel, crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center (WTC), burning a hole near the 80th floor of the 110-story skyscraper, instantly killing hundreds and trapping hundreds of others in higher floors. Not long after, he became the first recorded victim of the terrorist attacks.

On Sunday, ground was broken at the national memorial on the last element of the park, a 93-foot (28-meter) Tower of Voices with 40 tubular wind chimes, one for each victim.
