All Blacks onslaught overwhelms Springboks in Rugby Championship Test at Albany

New Zealand beat South Africa by a record 57-0 margin in the Rugby Championship.

Nehe Milner Skudder helped himself to two tries from the All Blacks' total of eight and Beauden Barrett kicked 17 points in a one-sided, ceaseless 57-0 victory.

Beauden Barrett put New Zealand ahead with a penalty before quick intuition from scrum-half Aaron Smith led to the first try of the match when his quick tap and kick found Rieko Ioane to go over in the corner.

Milner-Skudder scored a double thanks to his NZ teammate Barrett.

With that, Milner Skudder had scored and New Zealand had gone from 3-0 to 17-0 up in the space of four unforgettable minutes.

The Hurricanes winger intercepted as pass mere metres from his own 22 and set off up the pitch.

The All Blacks will try and extend their flawless record against old rivals South Africa tonight.

South Africa continued to enjoy plenty of the ball in the second half, but proved toothless going forward and Milner-Skudder punished them with his second after the restart.

The crushing defeat was the first the Springboks had suffered in this year's competition.

Anton Lienert-Brown showed raw strength to bounce off Handre Pollard and surge to the line, enabling Lima Sopoaga to get on the board with six minutes remaining.
