Llorente reveals reasons why he snubbed Chelsea to join Spurs

The Spanish worldwide has been at Tottenham Hotspur for two weeks since a last-minute call from Mauricio Pochettino persuaded him to join the north Londoners rather than Chelsea, but has already been struck by the overall quality - and ruthless finishing - of Kane's game. When asked if he has pencilled in a return date, the Argentinian said: "No, it's like the case of Lamela".

Pochettino's men should have wrapped up the points immediately after the break when Kane and then Son fired over with only Burki to beat from the edge of the area.

That defeat came during Spurs' worst period of the season as they struggled to cope without Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane between mid-October and late November, winning just one of 10 matches in all competitions. "They have done very well in the last few years and I think I fit very well with this project", Llorente said, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Mauricio Pochettino's side kicked off their Champions League group stage with a convincing 3-1 victory over Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund, where Aurier played a prominent role. "It is our responsibility to translate and inspire to them not lose their hunger".

However, Tottenham have been in good form on the road in the Premier League, picking up wins at Newcastle United and Everton.

However, Bingjiao finally found her rhythm and reduced the deficit to 12-10 before mounting a comeback to take a 15-16 lead. Sindhu looked seemingly exhausted at 9-7 as Bingjiao's strategy of making Sindhu play lower helped her to tie at 9-9.

"I don't know that, Alan Shearer was fantastic, great, one of the best strikers".

"We want him to make an impact off the bench initially and when he is ready we will put him in from the start.

It will help us to get our confidence and trust of playing there at Wembley, to help us feel that it is our home", Pochettino said Friday afternoon.

"We are assessing them every day, still we need to wait and can not give a date to return to the group and start training". At the very last minute Pochettino called me and convinced me [to join Tottenham].

"After seeing the Swans beat Crystal Palace, I was not too anxious about Paul Clement's side getting dragged into the relegation battle this season - but any more complete non-performances like that would be a real cause for concern".
