How to Watch Michigan vs. Air Force

MI knocked off Air Force on Saturday afternoon, but the team's red zone struggles were on full display yet again.

Peoples-Jones' touchdown was the first of his career. This will also be an opportunity for quarterback Wilton Speight to find his footing in the pass game.

MI running back Ty Isaac had 16 carries for 89 yards. Worthman was 1 of 7 and his replacement, Nate Romine, threw an interception on two attempts. Falcons running back Timothy McVey added 62 yards on 11 carries.

MI wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (9) returns a punt for a touchdown in the third quarter of an NCAA college football game against Air Force in Ann Arbor, Mich., Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017.

The Falcons quickly matched that score with a big play of their own. Worthman found wideout Ronald Cleveland behind a MI defense creeping forward, the play going 64 yards for a touchdown to make it 16-13 at the 11:54 mark.

Redshirt freshman placekicker Quinn Nordin tied a U-M record with five field goals, owning the skies with 165 yards worth of three-pointers in the Wolverines' 29-13 win. He drilled his fifth of the game, a 36-yarder, in the opening minute of the fourth for a nine-point lead. Lucky for the Wolverines, their kicking game was just fine.

Nordin continued the Rockettes afternoon, blasting a 49-yard field goal with four seconds left in the half, making it 9-6 at intermission. If not for a solid effort by the MI defense and Nordin going five-for-five on field goal attempts, a not-so-comfortable game could have been more uncomfortable.

Trump, Democrats Agree to Work on DACA Deal
As a candidate, Trump vowed to repeal the executive action signed by President Barack Obama allowing the young people to stay. On Thursday morning, the president - a former Democrat himself - and the minority leaders appeared largely aligned.

Running back Chris Evans also fumbled the ball on the team's second drive of the game.

Nordin was true on a 29-yard field goal with 2:59 to go in the third for a 19-13 bulge, which stood through the end of the period.

MI quarterback Wilton Speight (3) throws a pass to head coach Jim Harbaugh during warmups before an NCAA college football game against Air Force in Ann Arbor, Mich., Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017.

Bob Wojnowski: Similar to Michigan, Air Force lost a lot of seniors.

"I thought they responded really well", MI coach Jim Harbaugh said of his defense. A personal foul on Bush set the Falcons up with first-and-goal at the 6.
