Sports auto strikes crowd of people in Boise, injuring 11

A gray Porsche leaving a Boise vehicle show crashed onto a crowded sidewalk, sending at least 11 people to the hospital. The driver is cooperating with the investigation.

Boise Police say no less than 11 individuals have been harmed after an auto went into a group at the Boise Spectrum, a complex of motion picture theaters, shops and eateries.

"The investigation is ongoing, once it's complete the investigation will be forwarded to the prosecutor for possible charges", the Boise Police Department Twitter post says.

Cars and Coffee has been a monthly event since 2013, according to its Facebook page.

Eyewitness video of the incident showed the Porsche spinning sideways before striking pedestrians.

"The information I have is that the driver was showing off for the crowd", said LeBar.
