Elisabeth Moss wears heels with a message

Hot on the heels of her Emmy win for best actress in a drama series for her role in "The Handmaid's Tale", Elisabeth Moss has found her first feature follow-up to the hit series with the abortion drama "Call Jane". Some looks took 40 hours to create, others were decorated with over 3,700 crystals and for Emmy victor Elisabeth Moss, her pretty pink tea-length dress and accessories were created to deliver subtle messages to the patriarchy.

Stylist Karla Welch posted a photo of one shoe with "Off" written on the sole.

"You'll have to guess what the other shoe says. our note to the patriarchy", she wrote as the caption. On the show, Elisabeth plays Offred, so the "off" may be a witty call to her character.

But most people have assumed the other shoe may have borne a word to send a message to a real-world patriarchy in Hollywood and beyond.

"I was surprised how few changes she made", librarian Jennifer Toews told CTV News.

Her custom Prabal Gurung dress was also created with a clear, modern vision in mind.

Thieves targeted Grenfell Tower wreck after London fire disaster
Money and other valuables are feared to have been stolen from burnt out flats near the bottom of Grenfell Tower, it emerged today. Forensic officers are scanning through every small piece of bone, tissue, and have even discovered small children's teeth.

"It's my bread and butter, it's what I'm most interested in as a woman, shows that are about women", she said.

She also credited her mother with being "brave, and strong and smart".

Variety reports that she's already signed on for a new film, and it sounds every bit as hard-hitting as the adaptation of Margaret Atwood's dystopian 1985 novel.

"She is a champion, a heroine, a rebel, and a fighter for freedom and equality".

The movie - set in 1960s Chicago - focuses on the true story of an underground network of suburban women who secretly provide safe abortions for women before the landmark decision Roe v. Wade.
