Yogi Adityanath and his deputies take oath as Members of Legislative Council

Earlier on an average 2 riots were reported every week but in last six months not a single riot has taken place in UP.

Patting his government for establishing rule of law in UP, Yogi said on Tuesday that UP was now "a changed state". "The ill-gotten properties of 69 criminals were seized and the government also took back Rs 3,500 crores worth of land encroached by land mafia", he said.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Member of Legislative Council on Monday. "I am happy that hard work by ministers has instilled a sense of confidence in the people".

Samajwadi Party spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary retaliated by saying that within just six months of the BJP coming to power, the State had slowed down in the development race. "He hailed his government for ensuring smooth process of farmers" loan waiver. Over 1100 criminals, of which 668 are carrying awards on their heads have been arrested.

Noting that his government has started a system to provide tube-wells and solar pumps to farmers, Adityanath claimed it was the first time a record wheat procurement of 37 lakh metric tonnes was made directly from the growers without any role of middleman and the payment was made in their bank accounts.

Equifax CIO, CSO retiring 'effective immediately'
The company is now under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission and the class-action lawsuits are starting to pile up. A new report says Equifax knew about the hack in March, nearly five months before the date it publicly disclosed the hack.

"Taking inspiration from the Prime Minister, we have waived loan of 86 lakh farmers", he claimed.

"We have created job opportunities in the state". Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the media at the Lok Bhawan in Lucknow and presented the government's six-month report card.

Around 6 lakh youth have already been trained under various skill development programmes, he said, adding that the government has already cleared recruitment of 47,000 police men on vacant posts. "But all that has changed", the CM told mediapersons, while releasing a 56-page booklet to enlist his government's achievements.

"This was not done in 15 years and it proves the senstivity of our government", he said. Talking about the issue, Yogi said, "We are also planning to launch a systematic drive which will help government retrieve 1000 hectares of land which have been in the grip of land mafia since years".
