Donald Trump wants 'son of ab-' anthem protestors off the field

And he's encouraging spectators to walk out in protest.

"'Wouldn't you like to see one of our National Football League owners, when somebody disrespects the flag, say, 'Get that son of a b*tch off the field, '" Trump reportedly said at the rally. "He's fired! He's fired!"

"NFL ratings are down massively", Trump said, according to CNN's Brian Stelter. Luther Strange in the runoff election, didn't specifically mention Kaepernick by name. When people like yourselves turn on television and you see those people taking the knee when they are playing our great national anthem.

Players like Colin Kaepernick, Michael Bennett, Malcolm Jenkins and others have repeatedly said they are not protesting the anthem itself, but rather the racial inequality and injustice that continue in this country. "That's a total disrespect of everything that we stand for", he said, encouraging owners to act.

He says their behavior is driving away viewers and says spectators who witness such protests should "pick up and leave".

Trump was quicker and more vehement in his hatred of Colin Kaepernick's non-violent protest than he was of Nazis.

Trump encouraged football fans to leave the stadium when they see a player kneeling and urged the NFL to take action against such players, calling it a "disrespect of everything we stand for".

"Today, if you hit too hard, if they hit too hard, 'Fifteen yards, throw him out of the game, '" Trump said.

'I know that we have freedoms, ' he said, 'and we have freedom of choice. I guarantee things will stop.
