Stoke City v Chelsea

The Red Devils are looking to extend their unbeaten start to the Premier League to six games following an impressive start to the 2017-18 season.

Their third home game this season comes against Chelsea and they'll be hoping that once again they can overcome the odds to surprise a side with lofty ambitions.

Chelsea have been given three red cards in five Premier League games after David Luiz was dismissed for a late lunge against Arsenal last Sunday.

23-year-old Portuguese player Bernardo Mota Veiga de Carvalho e Silva was acquired by Man City for £43 million during this transfer window after three seasons at Monaco, making him one of the year's most biggest midfield transfers.

Mark Hughes has a mini defensive crisis with the ineligibly of Kurt Zouma to face his former club, and injuries to both Ryan Shawcross and Geoff Cameron.

But back to Stoke, who have yet to win in four tries away from the Britannia (or whatever betting company it's sponsored by at the minute) but have yet to lose in three tries at home, including a win over Arsenal and a draw with Manchester United.

While Stoke voices have been quick to defend their new recruit, Wimmer will need to repay the faith that Hughes and Stoke have placed in him when they brought him into the club.

While quakes are frequent in this region, they rarely cause any damage since their epicenters are usually far off the coast. Both quakes struck west of the California town of Petrolia and were very shallow, amplifying their effects.

In defeat to Newcastle last weekend, the main difference between the two teams was the effort exuded by their players.

It puts to an end the acrimonious dispute between player and manager, allowing all concerned parties to move on with their own narrative.

It's been an indifferent start to the season for Stoke after picking up points against tough opposition but then failing to perform against teams of a lesser nature.

Stoke still have Charlie Adam, but he's only played in the League Cup so far.

After a disappointing 0-0 draw at home against Arsenal last week, in which they could have lost, Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways against Stoke on Saturday.

"Chelsea" said goodbye to Diego Costa who returns to Madrid "Atletico".

"I used to enjoy watching him play because he had an edge to him and the reaction of other players to him was really interesting", Hughes added.
