North Korea quake not a nuclear test, say China experts

Trump repeated his nickname of "rocket man" towards Kim and said the US would "destroy North Korea" while speaking at the UN Tuesday, and also thanked China and Russian Federation for joining the rest of the UN Security Council to unanimously pass sanctions against Pyongyang.

In return, Kim concluded the statement by saying he will "surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged USA dotard with fire".

"They can choose to do business with the United States or with North Korea, but not both".

The threats came after a week in which President Donald Trump made a combative speech blasting North Korea in front of the United Nations.

He added Pyongyang does not have "any intentions to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against countries that do not join the USA in military actions".

The order will "target any individual or entity that conducts trade in goods, services or technology with North Korea", Trump said.

First there was US President Donald Trump threatening to annihilate North Korea.

South Korea's Unification Ministry spokesman Baik Tae-hyun told reporters Friday that North Korea must immediately stop such provocations and return to talks on nuclear disarmament.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un responded by calling President Trump a "mentally deranged dotard" and threatened to "tame (Trump) with fire" for his comments.

Pyongyang's Korean Central News Agency released a statement from Kim Jong-un today, two days after Trump declared that if the U.S.

Twitter was awash with both praise for Kim's linguistic originality and outrage from Trump supporters.

In addition to his new "Rocket Man" nickname for Kim, the president once described the dictator as "a total nutjob".

North Korea has conducted several weapons and missile tests in recent months, leading to round after round of sanctions by the U.N. Security Council.

A further possibility, in the event the tremor was not caused by a nuclear detonation, is that tunnel infrastructure at North Korea's testing site collapsed to some extent.

According to KCNA, each official took turns strongly denouncing Trump and his keynote address to the United Nations General Assembly.
