Zachariah Rene, Delilah's Son

Zachariah Rene, Delilah's Son

In a report obtained by People, it was learned that her son was being treated, counseled, and was supported by the entire family while he battled against depression.

Delilah's granddaughter, Penny, is two.

According to an article in Puget Sound Blogs (and based on an article of Delilah's that has since been removed), Sammy was found wandering the streets of a small village in West Ghana when he was a toddler.

Unfortunately, Zachariah is not the first child Rene has lost.

Delilah said in a January Facebook post that Zack was autistic.

As she announced the death of her son on Facebook, the radio host further revealed that she would be out on the radio and on social media for a while.

"My heart is broken beyond fix and I cannot fathom how to go on...but I have to believe he is at peace with the Lord and that God will get us through", Delilah wrote. My heart is breaking for you and your family. Another posted, "Oh Delilah, I'm so sorry". Prayers and blessings to you and your family.

Thousands protest as Kenya opposition demands poll reform
Observers say Odinga has also not shown keen interest on the campaign trail as he vigorously did ahead of the August 8 polls. Last week, the IEBC told Odinga that they can not meet his demands due to tight timelines and binding legal contracts.

But now it's her heart that is broken.

"I will be absent from the radio and on social media for a time as I grieve and process this loss with my family", she wrote.

"I'll look forward to my return, as you all lift me up so very much!" she told fans.

Following the separation, Delilah didn't have her parents to turn to, as they disowned her for marrying an African-American man.

She plans on taking a leave of absence from playing love songs and helping listeners through romance and heartbreak on the syndicated program, which airs weeknights on 106.7 FM in New York City.
