Victor Garber to Leave DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Victor Garber to Leave DC's Legends of Tomorrow

While no one would comment, a pending departure was inadvertently revealed in early September when it was announced that musical theater veteran Garber would return to Broadway, teaming with Bernadette Peters to headline the Tony-winning revival of Hello, Dolly!, taking over from David Hyde Pierce and Bette Midler.

Garber has been a series regular since the beginning of Legends of Tomorrow, forming one half of Firestorm with Jefferson "Jax" Jackson, played by Franz Drameh.

According to Deadline, Garber will be making his exit during the current third season of the CW series. The rumors intensified over the summer, and while the CW and the show's producing studio Warner Bros. Actor David Hyde Pierce now plays the part in the hit Broadway revival, starring Bette Midler. Deadline did not report when Garber's final episode would be. Will you miss Martin Stein if he leaves Legends?

Catalonia crisis: Spain pushes for unity on national holiday
Rajoy gave no indication that Madrid was prepared to negotiate anything with the secessionists in the Catalan capital. The Catalan crisis is Spain's most serious political emergency since its return to democracy four decades ago.

Following their meet-and-greet with Julius Caesar (Simon Merrells) last night, the Legends will be going to the circus in "Freakshow", traveling back in time to 1870 to take care of another anachronism at P.T. Barnum's (Billy Zane) circus. His first performance for the production is set for January 20th. It's hard to imagine him simultaneously working on a primetime network show, which has its own demanding schedule. An unconfirmed report has identified someone in the series who appears to be headed out the door. It's certainly possible for the show to simply sideline his character for a time until Garber is able to return.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9PM on The CW.
