Now that the New York City primaries are out of the way, New Yorkers are preparing for the next big thing: Election Day itself, which happens on November 7.

Candidates for local offices and the State Supreme Court will be on the ballot, along with three statewide ballot propositions.

That election had a heavy turnout and included balloting for U.S. President and vice president.

"If you're not a registered voter in Oneida County, you have until Friday, October 13th to register to vote in the county", Karp said. Online applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Oct.16.

"All the absentees are ready to go", she said at a Wednesday morning election board meeting.

There are 21, 24-hour ballot drop off boxes and six voter and polling centers in Adams County. Every signature will be compared to the voter's registration record, to ensure the correct person has marked the ballot.
