Michael Jordan concerned about National Basketball Association super teams

Count Michael Jordan among those who are not fans of the NBA's recent "superteam" trend.

Michael Jordan will grace the cover of Cigar Aficionado, the American magazine dedicated to cigar culture and lifestyle, for it's 25th anniversary issue set to hit newstands October 31, it was announced Thursday.

"I think it's going to hurt the overall aspect of the league from a competitive standpoint", "You're going to have one or two teams that are going to be great, and another 28 teams that are going to be garbage". "You're going to have one or two teams that are going to be great, and another 28 teams that are going to be garbage. Or they're going to have a tough time surviving in the business environment", Jordan told Cigar Aficionado magazine in an interview.

"I have no patience for coaching", he said. Jordan's Hornets have made it out of the first round of the playoffs just twice since the 2000-01 season. The Oklahoma City Thunder now boast a big three of Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony.

Thailand to ban smoking at 20 popular beaches
The ban is due to come into force later this month as Phuket prepares to host an global conference on sea waste. Upon successful implementation in the 20 beaches, the authority aims to extend the rule in other areas too.

In an interview with Cigar Aficionado, Jordan said that having just a few teams building collections of star players ruins the league's parity. I think when you can see the similarities and you understand, this is one way you can judge the tow-how much impact did each change or evolve the game? Think back - we had the Lakers and Celtics.

But Golden State still has to win four more championships to equal what Jordan's teams did in the 1990s.

Jordan's comments included a question about free agents forming superteams in the National Basketball Association. Durant has pushed back against that theory. Does that make Russell better than me or make me better than him? "Am I the reason that Brooklyn gave all their picks to Boston? I would never say one is greater than the other".

When James famously ditched the Cavs for the Heat in 2010, he helped usher in the era of super teams by uniting with Wade in Miami, along with another prized free agent, Chris Bosh. "I was more into stock vehicle racing than I was into anything else".
