Samsung Galaxy J2 2017 Edition with 4.7-inch display launched in India

On the software front, the handset boots Android Nougat with Samsung Experience user interface running atop with Samsung goodies like Smart Manager among others. The South Korean smartphone manufacturing company didn't host any special event for launching the new J series phones, instead just listed the device on the Samsung India website with the specifications.

At launch, Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 phablet was revealed in four colours; Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey, and Deep Sea Blue. most of the promotional material showed all four colours together.

This is not only because the two manufacturers have already shipped part samples to Samsung, but also because the tech giant has a different approach in bringing the under-display fingerprint sensor on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. At the launch of the phone on AT&T a couple of months ago, Samsung did hint at the latest development by saying that the Galaxy S8 Active will be an AT&T exclusive only for a limited time.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) comes with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 540x960 pixels resolution. It packs 1GB RAM (yeah, that's one of the reasons you are getting the phone for $100) and 8GB internal storage. For selfies and video calling, the Galaxy J2 (2017) gets a 2- megapixel shooter on the front.

The Note 8 which was launched in Lagos yesterday, October12, 2017, takes cues from Samsung's Note and Galaxy S lines, while boasting even more exciting features making the smartphone a stunning device. Priced at Rs 17,990, the tablet will be available on major e-retailers as well as offline stores.

In terms of specs, the S8 Active has a 5.8-inch flat-screen display screen that keeps the same Infinity Display feature of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ alongside a QHD+ resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor of unknown company. It runs on Android OS. Users can also install microSD cards of up to 256GB.
