No further details about those four suspects were disclosed in open court, though Prosecutor Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin said outside court the four are believed to be North Koreans.

Indonesian Siti Aisyah, 25, and Doan Thi Huong, 28, a Vietnamese, are charged with murdering Kim Jong Nam by smearing his face with VX, a chemical poison banned by the United Nations, at Kuala Lumpur airport on February 13.

Most of the videos, however, appeared to show Huong and Siti Aisyah before, during and after the attack on Kim Jong Nam.

"The man (seen) walking together with Doan is referred to as Mr Y", he said, adding that the man had smeared a liquid, believed to be VX, onto Doan's hands.

Another clip showed Siti meeting another man wearing a black cap at a restaurant, less than an hour before the attack.

Wan Azirul testified that Chang was also seen in the videos pouring liquid on Siti Aisyah's hands.

Mr Wan Azirul said he took possession of the victim's blazer, backpack and watch and handed them to the chemistry department for analysis, but was later told by investigation authorities to hand them over to representatives of the North Korean embassy.

Their defense lawyers have said Huong and Aisyah were duped by suspected North Korean agents into believing they were playing a harmless prank for a TV show.

Those four men - identified as North Koreans Ri Ji Hyon, Hong Song Hac, O Jong Gil, and Ri Jae Nam - are the subject of a red notice issued by Interpol, the closest instrument to an global arrest warrant.

The body of Bennington , a 41-year-old father of six, was found on July 20 by his housekeeper in his home in Palos Verdes Estates. Bennington's band will be hosting a benefit concert in his memory on October 27 at the Hollywood Bowl in California.

On March 16, Interpol issued a "red notice" for the four North Koreans, describing them as suspects in the Malaysian airport murder.

According to the AP report, police said Chang was in fact Hong Song Hak and James was also known as Ri Ji U. The latter was one of three North Koreans identified by Malaysian police as persons sought for questioning in the murder probe.

Huong and Aisyah are the only two suspects detained in the brazen assassination of Kim, an outcast from North Korea's ruling family who lived overseas in virtual exile for years.

James later introduced Aisyah to a man called Chang, who said he was the producer of Chinese video prank shows. The court was told that Mr Chang had also smeared the oily substance on her hands.

The 45-year-old Kim, the eldest son of the late North Korean leader Kim Jon Il, was attacked as he went to check in for a flight to Macau.

Jong-nam died while on the way to the Putrajaya Hospital.

Doan Thi Huong, 21, is charged, along with Indonesian woman Siti Aisyah, with using chemical VX to kill Kim Jong-nam in Kuala Lumpur airport, in Malaysia, in February.
