Vikings are slight underdogs at home vs. Packers

And their preferred left tackle, David Bakhtiari, hasn't played since the season-opener, although he's back as a limited participant in practice this week and could return against the Vikings on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Below is the Packers and Vikings injury report for Thursday. Do the Vikings have what it takes to control the Green Machine? The Packers won with an overtime field goal.

One of the most underrated parts of Rodgers' game is his mobility and how utilizes it to create big plays for Green Bay. On to the snippets in the Packers-Vikings series. By the second quarter last Monday night, Bradford was walking around like Gollum.

If Everson Griffen can get to Aaron Rodgers on Sunday, he'll reach a career milestone. A Merry Christmas, indeed. They are the team that has the one out of the six. The teams have largely traded blows throughout the years with a few memorable moments tossed in.

After losing future hall of fame running back Adrian Peterson to free agency this offseason, the Vikings looked to rookie running back Dalvin Cook to be the workhorse for this team. Justin McCray is a first-year player with three National Football League starts.

Who can forget the famous Monday night game in 2000 when a late Brett Favre pass that should have been intercepted bounced around off of receiver Antonio Freeman's feet before falling into his hands.

"A lot of times runs that do get sprung for a 10-yard-plus gain are due to blocks that happen on the perimeter", Allison said. Offensive touchdowns came on both teams' opening possessions. He's 12-6 with 40 touchdown passes and six interceptions against Minnesota since then. The Packers now own first place in the NFC North, so this is definitely a big game for both clubs. The Packers are 4-1 and coming off of a huge road win over the Cowboys.

All told, Rodgers has actually played in 19 total games vs. the Vikings. Playoff probabilities are based on 20,000 simulations of the season and will update after each game. And it's even hard to determine the Packers' biggest threat.

The Packers' offensive line is a mess. The play-fake on the throw made safety Byron Jones and linebacker Justin Durant "bite" - thinking the Packers were running the ball - leaving Nelson wide open for a 22-21 lead.

Down 28-24, Dallas led a methodical nine-minute drive capped off by an 11-yard touchdown run by Prescott.

China's exports, imports pick up pace in September
Exports increased 8.1% in September, the customs administration said Friday, less than the 10% projected in a Bloomberg survey. The country's trade surplus last month narrowed to 193 billion yuan ($29.3 billion) from 286.49 billion yuan in August.

Elliott ended a three-game drought without 100 yards, matching the longest from his rookie season, finishing with 116 yards in 29 carries. And these are the only two Packers linemen who have started all five games at the same position. King's absence would force more snaps for Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins, both of whom have had their struggles so far in this young season. Chicago's leading pass catcher is a running back, Tarik Cohen, with 25 receptions. The challenge is doing so with backup quarterback Case Keenum, who has played solid in two of his four starts. Keenum also put up good numbers in the two weeks prior against the Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

We all know the story of the Vikings quarterback situation, and if we can glean anything from the Wednesday media access at Winter Park is that the Vikings trotted out Keenum for questions again and Bradford was nowhere to be seen. Aaron Rodgers loves to take advantage of a defense's miscues, but you can bet the Minnesota defense will be ready for his hurry-up antics and won't fall for his dummy counts.

By the time Jones releases to his left and turns to look at Rodgers, the quarterback is being pounded to the ground. "I just work at it each and every week and get a better and better get off". The end result has been much better; the Vikings have been able to protect the quarterback, and their run game has found a resurgence.

That method also worked in Week 2 of 2016, when Minnesota's defense sacked Rodgers five times in a 17-14 victory.

Keeping Rodgers off the field is the best defense, especially with any time on the clock. Getting Aaron Jones going early will help alleviate the incoming fire.

Green Bay has won three in a row, including a last-minute comeback victory in Dallas last weekend that added to Rodgers' resume as a cool-under-fire passer.

Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph is a match up problem for any defender.

Now, I think Total QBR is a pretty good stat (some of you disagree, but that's fine).

That all becomes moot if the Packers can generate steady pressure up front. "Or you're careful with him and then it's going to slow down your pass rush". Griffen has certainly noticed Jones (who rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown in his first National Football League start last week against the Cowboys), but he knows that he can't lose sight of the original Aaron in Green Bay.

"He does what he does; that has never changed", Zimmer said. "They just let him have the ball; he's too good at that". Barring a loss in the turnover battle, I like the Packers to win their fourth-straight.
