Cow Vigilantes Thrash Five For Allegedly Carrying Beef In Haryana:- The cow vigilantes in Faridabad have thrashed around five peoplein Faridabad, a few kilometres from the national capital of Delhi, on suspicion of carrying beef.

Interestingly, the Haryana Police has booked the five victims who are now being treated at a local hospital.

Initially, the police had only booked the victims under the Cow Smuggling Act and had not file any case against the accused.

A senior police officer of the district said a case would be registered on the complaint of the victims too.

"We sell buffalo meat in Old Faridabad market and we do this every day", he said.

The victim is identified as Azaad, an disabled man who works as an auto-rickshaw driver and also a meat supplier.

Earlier, the police had sent the seized meat to a laboratory for test.
