Trump says he spoke to Virgin Islands' 'president' -- which is him

"These are people that are incredible people".

In the official transcript, the White House has crossed out the president's comment that he met with the president of the Virgin Islands.

During a speech at the Value Voters Summit, Trump claimed to have met with the president of the Virgin Islands, even though he is the president of the US Virgin Islands because they are a US territory. They've suffered gravely and we'll be there.

Trump could not have spoken to the president of the Virgin Islands because the president is Trump himself, since it's a US territory.

Trump seemed to be referring to Kenneth Mapp, the governor of the Virgin Islands, a US territory, instead of the "president", who is Trump himself. Could we have a response to this question, Sen.

He also said he hoped Congress will give the American people a Christmas gift by passing his tax cut proposal. The president made an appearance at the convention past year , but he was then only a presidential nominee.

The Virgin Islands is a USA island territory that was ravaged by Hurricane Maria after first being hit by Hurricane Irma. CNN reporter Hunter Schwarz chimed in, "He meets the president of the Virgin Islands daily, in fact".

"That is a nation that as of now had its difficulties previously this tempest", Perry said amid a congressional declaration in regards to reestablishing energy to the island.

Could it be that he was attempting to mollify the harsh, disrespectful remarks pronounced by Mr. Trump during his visit to Puerto Rico?

Trump's response to the storm has been criticized at times by local officials, and his administration has faced pressure from lawmakers to increase federal aid to the islands.
