The Weinstein Company may shut down

Bob Weinstein, 62, said that he's barely spoken to his brother in the past five years.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Bob Weinstein said he is living a "waking nightmare", after dozens of women came out accusing his brother of sexual harassment, assault and rape.

Harvey Weinstein has since checked himself in a rehab facility in Arizona for sex addiction.

A spokesperson for Weinstein has denied the accusations of sexual assault. Since the scandal involving its co-founder, Harvey Weinstein, broke last week, many are wondering what the fate of the film studio will be.

This week, the Oscar-winning producer was sacked from TWC.

Weinstein Co. will release the movie "Polaroid" on November 22 and "Paddington 2" on January 12, the company said. The first Paddington grossed over $75 million and we expect even greater success for Paddington 2. "'War with Grandpa" starring Robert De Niro is scheduled for February 23, 2018.

The embattled film production company's board was looking at either selling to another company or just fading to black and was unlikely to continue as an independent entity, the Wall Street Journal said in its report. As the number of allegations, denouncements - from actors, directors, and industry members alike - divestments, and possible police investigations grow by the minute, it appears increasingly likely that there is absolutely no future for the Weinstein Company.

Now the only remaining Weinstein in the firm he co-founded, Bob has told THR that the company will undergo a name change, and it won't be "familial".

"It's a complicated situation when it's your brother doing the abusing to you as well".

"I don't feel an ounce of remorse coming from him, and that kills me, too", Bob said. "I got away without it going further, but the experience left me shocked and disgusted". "I feel awful about what these women have experienced and admire their bravery in coming forward", she said. Women are often condemned when they speak out and their personal reputations tarnished by association. "This behaviour is unacceptable and needs to be eliminated".

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which has awarded Harvey's films 81 Oscars throughout the years, released a statement on Wednesday, declaring that they would be holding a meeting to discuss the scandal on Saturday. "That's as much as God-and more than nearly any other individual in the industry".

"Weinstein was reportedly violent toward men and women, according to The Post". Rose McGowan received a settlement for a 1997 incident at the Sundance Film Festival but had been bound by a non-disclosure agreement and was allegedly threatened by Weinstein's lawyers, so she would only allude to Weinstein.
