Cher will be in Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again

BBC reports Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! is being filmed both in the United Kingdom and on location in Croatia featuring songs that were not in the first film. Cher hinted at the casting in a Twitter post this weekend and her casting has been confirmed by the site.

Cher is now in London rehearsing choreography sequences for the follow-up to the ABBA musical film, which netted more than $600 million at the box office globally.

It'll spoil the fun if we give anything away, ' an executive connected to the film explained last night. Craymer is also the creator and producer of the stage musical.

Ol Parker, writer of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, writes and directs the sequel from a story by Catherine Johnson, Richard Curtis and Parker.

The movie will be Cher's return to the big screen after several years as the star has been busy touring and developing a Broadway musical based on her life.
