Taliban sources said 18 members of the Pakistan-based Haqqani militants, allied to the Taliban, were killed in Monday's strike and six in one of Tuesday's attacks.

The latest attacks near Pak-Afghan border are a result of joint operations by the U.S. and Afghanistan armed forces, Pakistani military's media wing said on Tuesday, which resulted in huge loss to terrorists in the remote region.

"Four unmanned drones fired six missiles in Monday's attack, and four more were dropped in two strikes on Tuesday", Baseer Khan Wazir, the top administrative official in the Kurram Agency, part of Pakistan's restive Federally Administered Tribal Areasm, told Reuters. "Drones are still flying in the sky", he added.

A second government official in Kurram confirmed the drone strikes and the new death toll.

"But the U.S. should show restraint on drone strikes anywhere in Afghanistan, or Pakistan", he said.

Columbus Crew consider move to Austin barring stadium deal
Austin is the largest market in North America without a major league sports franchise, and the city is receptive. Precourt's statement said the viability of a move to Austin would also be dependent on a stadium.

"RSM timely shared details about the said operation within Afghan territory", the Pakistani army said, adding a better security coordination will take both countries toward enduring peace and stability defeating the common enemy.

"There has been neither air violation along the Pak-Afg border in that area nor any drone strike in Kurram Agency as being misreported by few".

The Haqqanis are one of the strongest factions in the Afghan Taliban insurgency and have earned a fearsome reputation for their vicious attacks on North Atlantic Treaty Organisation troops and Afghan installations over the years.

Islamabad has repeatedly denied the accusations of turning a blind eye to militancy, lambasting the United States for ignoring the thousands who have been killed on its soil and the billions spent fighting extremists.

USA drones, on Friday (10/13/2017), were seen hovering near where American Caitlan Coleman, her Canadian husband, Joshua Boyle, and their three children, all born in captivity, were released after being kidnapped by the Haqqani network while backpacking in Afghanistan in 2012.
