Disturbing Video Shows High School Cheerleaders Chanting Racial Slurs And Laughing

School officials said the IT department would look into whether the clip was created with a video-editing app that somehow generated the offensive phrase reported the Deseret News. It sounds as though the girls are all saying "f****** n******' but school staff say they in fact said "surgeon cuff" and that an app played it backwards".

The video was apparently filmed previous year over fall break in a vehicle that was not on school property or participating in a high school activity, Findlay said.

"The video of Weber high school cheerleaders making racist comments makes me so sick", said one Facebook user. Officials were made aware of the video on Monday.

Recently, a gaggle of Utah high school teens got caught on video chanting "fucking niggers", in a widely shared Instagram video.

Although the video was not made at school, Findlay said they are taking the matter very seriously and "appropriate disciplinary action will be taken if the students involved are found to have violated the school's code of conduct".

He added: "Certainly, there are no excuses for this type of behavior, but they are still children in a sense and hopefully this will be a learning experience for them and others". "It was viewed by other students who then reposted it to other social media sites".

England beat Japan on penalties to reach quarter-finals
Rhian Brewster started the scoring when he slotted it home with Japan goalkeeper Kosei Tani diving the wrong way. England will face United States of America in the quarterfinal in Goa on Saturday.

"Even though the incident occurred outside of school, we are investigating the situation because of the disruption it has caused at Weber High School", Findlay's statement says.

The clip was initially posted on Instagram and shows the girls riding in a vehicle shouting, "f*** n***ers" into the camera while smiling and giggling. "They did it, and they posted it", she said.

While a student at the school, Wyatt Decker posted, 'That video is incriminating to all of Weber High, not just the cheerleaders.

Jeanetta Williams, president of NAACP's tri-state conference area of Idaho-Utah-Nevada, called the video appalling.

"The students were on a trip outside of school on their own personal time", School district spokesman Lane Findlay told the Salt Lake Tribune. 'Obviously, they knew what they were doing. He said that girls could face anything from counseling and being kicked off the cheerleading team to expulsion from school.
