Watch Katy Perry get stuck in mid-air during live performance

Katy Perry leapt into the arms of fans after becoming stuck on a prop dangling high above the crowd.

Katy Perry had a small malfunction during her concert in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday when she got stuck suspended in the air in front of a massive crowd.

Whether Katy is performing at charity shows or speaking out on social media, she has definitely been a real advocate for making the world a better place.

The singer was floating above the concertgoers at Bridgestone Arena while she was sitting on a platform that was created to look like Saturn.

Mr Varadkar also said the question of the UK's divorce bill is not as big an issue for Ireland as it is for other countries. Asked by reporters about the prospects for Brexit, Mr Clinton said: 'We didn't talk much about that.

"This is the first time I've been stuck in space", Perry joked.

And Katy even encouraged her fans to film the incident because she knew it was a "whole big deal" that would quickly go viral. Katy then jokingly sang the title of the Ethel Merman song, There's No Business Like Show Business.

Instead, the 32-year-old pop star's Saturn prop got stuck mid-air with the singer seated on the planet. "I guess I'm just gonna have to get down and walk amongst my people", she said before clumsily jumping into the crowd and being escorted back to the stage. "This is what you get for trying to bring out all of space to Nashville". The U.S. leg of her Witness: The Tour continues in St Louis, Missouri on Sunday (22Oct17), she is set to trek across North America before heading to Europe next May.
