Major Changes Announced For Sunday's WWE TLC; Medical Issues Force Card Changes

The biggest news to come from this is that Reigns will be replaced not by another active performer but rather by Raw general manager Kurt Angle, who hasn't competed in a WWE ring since 2006.

We've been reporting on the insane medical issues taking over WWE, and now it looks like two major stars have been removed from Sunday's WWE TLC event because of it.

Plus, AJ Styles will be replacing Bray Wyatt to take on "The Demon" Finn Balor. Still, the show must go on, and if Reigns is ill, there's not much else to be done but replace him in the main event and move on. Now, the match has even more meaning due to Reigns' replacement.

But it's the return of Kurt Angle which is getting WWE especially excited, and the WWE Hall of Famer has kept himself in good physical condition since he returned to the company earlier this year.

Wyatt's absence is also unfortunate, but a Balor-Styles matchup could headline WrestleMania one day. Sister Abigail. After missing two weeks of programming, Wyatt has officially been removed from the card. "As a precautionary measure, we are ensuring in-ring performers and staff are tested and immunized in accordance with recommended medical guidelines". It will be Angle's first televised match for WWE since August 8, 2006, against Sabu on the then-recently relaunched ECW brand. Despite each man assuming the role of leader of the popular "Bullet Club" faction before coming to WWE, this will be their first one-on-one match.
