Man dies from rock thrown through car's windshield

Several teens have been arrested in connection to the death of a Mt. Morris man after rocks were thrown from a highway overpass earlier this week, according to a report.

Investigators say a large rock was thrown off the overpass, crashing through the windshield of a auto and killing the passenger, a 32-year-old Genesee County man.

The Genesee County sheriff says a rock hit a southbound vehicle's windshield near the Dodge Road overpass on I-75.

Genesee County Sheriff's Office received a call about the incident around 8:30 p.m.

White was taken to Hurley Medical Center and pronounced dead, according to police. Amy Cagle had to tell her 5-year-old son that his father was killed coming home from work. The incident is being investigated as a possible homicide. Investigators say the rocks may have been taken from another location.

Before White and his friend came through the area on I-75, police said 20 rocks had already been thrown.

Four other vehicles were struck with large rocks or concrete chunks.

The family created a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses, according to the station.

Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County in MI posted a $2,500 reward in connection with an incident that killed Kenneth White.
