Jose Mourinho doesn't trust star man and will drop him apparently

The Red Devils started their second Premier League season under Jose Mourinho brilliantly, winning three of their first six games by a margin of 4 goals.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will drop Romelu Lukaku when he has Zlatan Ibrahimovic back according to Steve Nicol, who thinks that Mourinho does not trust his current number nine.

However, they lost two of their last three games and have fallen eight points behind Pep Guardiola's unbeaten Manchester City.

Ibrahimovic, who scored 28 goals last season before a career-threatening injury, is due back in first team action before the end of December and will provide Lukaku with serious competition for this first time this season, but the 24-year-old insisted he is not concerned.

Defender Nathaniel Clyne hit by further injury setback
The Scotland defender has played more games for his country than for the Anfield club this season. It's not the best thing, especially not for him.

Lukaku's double for Belgium means his season has started with an impressive 16 goals in 20 appearances for club and country, yet some doubts remain over his ability to perform on the biggest of stages.

After the game he said: "At a young age I've achieved something great like this which is really good but there is a lot of work to be done and I'm relishing the challenge". I was born to score.

"But in the last few weeks we didn't play at the same level and that made it more hard for me". But in the last few weeks we didn't play at the same level and that made it more hard for me. "Ibrahimovic coming back will help us chase Manchester City".

"I am like a leopard in the box".
